Splendide Royal offers four main meeting rooms in Lugano: Panorama, Azalea, Blu and Lago. Each space has its own character and can be configured according to the format, number of delegates and programme of the event.
The Panorama room is the hotel’s largest event space. Its wide windows overlook Lake Lugano and Monte Brè, while the adjoining winter garden opens onto a panoramic terrace during the warmer months.
Azalea is a bright and versatile room facing the garden and the lake, with an outdoor area suitable for breaks. The elegant Blu room opens onto a lakeside terrace, while Lago provides a more private setting for smaller meetings and executive sessions.
Technical equipment and catering services
The rooms can be equipped for conferences, presentations, training sessions and business meetings. Available facilities include Wi-Fi, screens, projectors, sound systems, speakers, wireless and table microphones, flip charts, podiums and laptops. Equipment varies by room and is confirmed according to the technical requirements of each event.
Coffee breaks, aperitifs, business lunches and corporate dinners can also be organised in the meeting rooms or the hotel’s outdoor spaces. Menus and service formats can be tailored to the event schedule, number of delegates and specific dietary requirements.

Splendide Royal is located at Riva Antonio Caccia 7, directly on the lakeside promenade and within walking distance of Lugano city centre.
The Palazzo dei Congressi is approximately 1.5 km from the hotel, or around a 20-minute walk. Splendide Royal can therefore also provide accommodation, meeting rooms and dining services for speakers and delegates attending events at Lugano’s main convention centre.
The main approximate distances are:
- Lugano railway station: approximately 2 km;
- Lugano-Agno Airport: approximately 10 km or 20 minutes by car;
- Milan Malpensa Airport: approximately 70 km;
- Zurich Airport: approximately 250 km.
Private-driver transfers can be arranged for airport connections. A complimentary shuttle between Lugano railway station and the hotel is also available upon request and subject to availability.
